Wound Care Strategies launches the Premier Version 4.0 of its TriAssess® software. TriAssess Premier 4.0 is a comprehensive documentation platform that features new auditing capabilities for a patient’s electronic medical record, a new archiving utility which allows records to be relocated for a more manageable database, and a revised user-friendly interface making it easier to customize and organize data. The AutoMinder® clinical and operational support system is included with TriAssess Premier 4.0.

Ideal for children ages 3 and up, the mask is recommended for use with children who are immuno-compromised or have flu-like symptoms. The mask is designed to better fit the smaller facial features of children and thereby provide better protection to them and those around them.

The Flo 4000 wireless mobile workstation is designed to provide clinicians with a single platform for integrating mobile computing capabilities with vital signs data capture and monitoring devices. The Flo 4000 was designed specifically to integrate with a range of Welch Allyn devices, including the Vital Signs Monitor Series 300 and the newly released Spot LXi Vital Signs device. Smiths Medical has launched a new Portex® Blue Line® series of tracheostomy tubes — the new Portex® Blue Line® 527 and 529 adjustable flange tracheostomy tubes (AFTT). The new tubes allow adjustment of horizontal distance and are suitable for patients that may require an adaptable horizontal length tube such as the obese, those with “bull neck,” those using a cervical collar, or those with pectoral flaps following radical neck surgery. Key features of the new AFTT include an adjustable flange, easy release locking mechanism, anatomically shaped tube, length gradations, initial tube rigidity for ease of insertion, a thermosensitive tube, and an optional low pressure cuff.
