Dallas played host to the 2012 annual Ambulatory Surgery Center Association (ASCA) conference, where attendees enjoyed networking, refreshments and prize giveaways in the exhibit hall. In addition to photos of Simon Schwartz from Pinnacle III, Robert Andersen from Foundation HealthCare Affiliates and the super-cute pint-sized gowns from Bair Paws, check out the Texas-sized chaise lounge chairs. They provided a welcome respite in between education sessions for Regina Robinson, SurgiStrategies author and editorial advisory board member from Peninsula Surgery Center in Virginia, and fellow Surgi contributor LoAnn Vande Leest from The Surgery Center in Wisconsin. Both women are RN/CASCs with a host of other impressive abbreviations after their names.
