FASA Promotes National ASC Open House Day 2005 Toolkit

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- On Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) are encouraged to join their colleagues across the country and open their doors to the local community. The Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association (FASA)’s National ASC Open House Day: Here When You Need Us, provides ASCs an opportunity to promote their centers directly to target audiences and through the local media interested in learning more about a critical local healthcare provider. FASA explains that the theme of “Here When You Need Us” conveys the notion of ASCs as indispensable resources for Americans facing surgery that would otherwise have to be done in the hospital setting.
