MarCap Names Vice President to Lead Surgery Center and Hospital Practices

CHICAGO -- MarCap, a leading healthcare financing company, has promoted Scott Besece to vice president of surgery centers and hospitals. Besece, who was regional manager Southeast for MarCap, will manage and develop MarCap’s finance programs in the ambulatory surgery center and hospital markets. David Stuart has joined MarCap to take over as Southeast regional manager.

 Besece joined MarCap in 2003 from Medical Capital Corporation, a provider of accounts receivable-based lines of credit to the healthcare industry. He also spent six years as a regional sales manager for GE Capital Services, GE’s commercial financing arm.

 As regional manager for Southeast,Stuart will work with surgery centers, imaging centers and hospitals to develop leasing and financing programs to start centers, expand centers or add equipment.  Stuart joins MarCap from CIT where he was vice president of healthcare financing sales.  He also held executive positions with CitiCapital and Comdisco.
