Cirrus Health Appoints Hong H. Nguyen as Vice President of Medical Operations for its Western Region

TROPHY CLUB, Texas -- Cirrus Health announces the appointment of Hong H. Nguyen as vice president of medical operations for the western region consisting of California, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

"Cirrus Health is experiencing rapid growth in the western region. We wanted someone with expertise in clinical and business operations, physician relations, managed care and other operational experience and knowledge required to oversee surgical facilities," stated Ron Duperroir, senior vice president of operations for Cirrus Health. "We believe Hong possesses all the traits required to maintain Cirrus Health's commitment of developing and managing facilities of excellence."

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Nguyen has served in increasingly responsible roles for leading medical centers, outpatient facilities and physician groups. Nguyen previously held the role of vice president of surgery center operations for Sovereign Healthcare. There, he was responsible for the operational and clinical administration of five ambulatory surgery centers. Prior to Sovereign Healthcare, Nguyen served as area administrator for Healthsouth in southern California. Nguyen received an associate of arts degree in nursing with honors from Goldenwest College in Huntington Beach, Calif. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from California State University Fresno, in Fresno Calif. Nguyen is a registered nurse and is fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese.

Cirrus Health currently operates an endoscopy center, Central California Endoscopy Center, two ambulatory surgery centers, Laguna Hills Surgery Center and Linden Crest Surgery Center in California. Additionally, Cirrus Health operates two surgical hospitals, Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital and Fresno Surgical Hospital, with another, California Heart and Surgical Hospital, under development.
