Cirrus Health Appoints Carol Atwood as Administrator of Spring Creek Surgery Center

TOMBALL, Texas -- Cirrus Health, a premier healthcare and management company, today announced the appointment of Carol A. Atwood as the new administrator of the Spring Creek Surgery Center in Tomball, Texas. Atwood will oversee all operations of the ambulatory surgery center that opened February 2006.

"Carol Atwood has over 20 years experience in working with physicians and hospital operations," stated Cheryl Shaw, senior vice president of people development for Cirrus Health. "She is a team player and is dedicated to high-quality patient care."

Prior to joining the Spring Creek Surgery Center team, Atwood served as regional vice president of operations for Laurus Healthcare where she was oversaw the operations of facilities in three markets including the start-up of facilities. Atwood has served in various other roles in the healthcare industry including chief operating officer at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center in Houston, Texas and senior vice president of corporate services at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas.
