03/21/2007

DALLAS -- Surgical Notes and JC Data Solutions, Inc. are joining forces to provide the EOB TRACKER to Paragon Health Systems in Dallas, and PhysiciansAmbulatorySurgeryCenter in San Antonio, Texas. JC Data Solutions (JCDS), through Surgical Notes, provides an electronic data management solution, the EOB TRACKER, which ties patient files to explanation of benefits (EOB) provided by insurance companies.

This system captures scanned documents from a lock box, mail processing or over the counter processing and provides a user friendly searchable database that is compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The user can search the EOB's or patient charts by the patient name, claim number, date range or any word or phrase in the EOB or patient chart thus greatly enhancing the ability to quickly find and explain discrepancies on bill payments, one of the key problems facing the business side the medical industry.

Surgical Notes is a nationwide provider of medical transcription, coding and other related value-added information technology services for the ambulatory surgery center market. They offer practice management applications to enhance current systems and provide these services to more than 250 surgery centers and 6,500 physicians in 41 states.

"Part of our business plan at JCDS is to help our customers control time and costs and our EOB Tracker does just that, we developed a way to automatically collect EOB when they are posted and an efficient way of retrieving them when needed," states Cary Allen, CEO, JCDS.

JC Data Solutions provides comprehensive, innovative and cost-effective solutions for digital data processing and management.
