Consumers' Research Council of America Names Plastic Surgeon as One of America's Top Surgeons

NEW YORK -- Oleh Slupchynskyj, MD, has been named one of "America's Top Surgeons" for 2007 by the Consumers' Research Council of America, an independent Washington, D.C.-based research organization that provides information guides for consumers of professional services throughout the United States.
The Consumers' Research Council of America compiled the list of top surgeons by using a point value system. The criteria include experience, training, education, professional associations and board certifications. No fees, donations, sponsorships or advertising are accepted to ensure an unbiased selection.
Slupchynskyj is the director and founder of The Aesthetic Facial Surgery Institute of New York and New Jersey with offices in Manhattan and West Orange. In private practice for more than10 years, he is certified through the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology with training specific to the head, neck and face.

Born and raised in Manhattan, Slupchynskyj attended medical school at New YorkMedicalCollege, conducted his general surgery residency at St. Vincent's Hospital, his otolaryngology residency at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and completed his fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Rochester.
He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the New York County Medical Society, the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.
