Mass. ASC Earns Accreditation

DARTMOUTH, Mass.─ Hawthorn Ambulatory Surgery Center has become an accredited organization as it has passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health care, set by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The center, which opened in April 2008, underwent a thorough survey by the association in areas such as surgical services, administration of anesthesia, patients rights, quality care, quality management, clinical records, and facilities.
