Lillibridge Developing New Tomball Ambulatory Care Center

Outpatient Center Will Open on Tomball Regional Medical Center Campus

11/12/2008

CHICAGO and TOMBALL, Texas — Residents of Tomball, a suburb of Houston, will soon have the benefits of a new 14,000-square-foot outpatient surgery center on the Tomball Regional Medical Center campus. Chicago-based Lillibridge, one of the nation’s largest private healthcare real estate firms, is helping to develop the facility for the Tomball Regional Medical Center, which is scheduled to open in April.

Lillibridge will design and put together the programming for the new outpatient center and will serve in an advisory role as it is being constructed. The building will be owned through a joint venture with Tomball Regional Medical Center and the physician owners. The facility’s four operating rooms will fulfill the growing needs of the hospital for cost-effective outpatient surgery.

“Lillibridge has done a great job in designing and putting together the programming for the new Tomball Ambulatory Care Center,” says Keith Barber, chief operating officer/ chief financial officer at Tomball Regional Medical Center. “They have a long history with healthcare real estate projects and their experience has been invaluable.”

The new Tomball Ambulatory Care Center is a one-story building that has been designed to complement the architecture of the existing hospital. The design of the building will make it possible to expand and add additional operating rooms as needed. “We have enjoyed working with both the physicians and the Tomball Regional Medical Center representatives,” says Lillibridge chairman and chief executive officer Todd Lillibridge. “This new Ambulatory Care Center will be a great addition to the campus and will provide a valuable service to the Tomball community.”
