New ASC Open in Jacksonville, Florida

Accoring to The Daily Record, Baptist Medical Center South’s new ambulatory surgery center, in Jacksonville, Florida is now open. The new facility includes "two new state-of-the-art outpatient operating rooms, two endoscopy rooms and shelled space to add a third operating room in the future."

As stated in the article, "The new operating rooms include large, high-definition monitors that greatly enhance the visual clarity of the patient’s anatomy for the surgeon. These technologically advanced pieces of equipment enhance patient safety and allow for more timely treatment."
