The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare (AAAHC) will explore "The Critical Role of Credentialing and Privileging in Liability, Risk Reduction and Patient Safety" at the sixth annual Credentialing Resource Center Symposium, to be held in May.
Hospitals pay an alarming higher amount for liability insurance this year compared to the last few years with further increases in sight. The increases in the cost of purchasing liability insurance this year wipes out the bottom line of many hospitals. This makes reducing liability at its source critical for hospitals.
