MINNEAPOLIS -- ProVation Medical, Inc. announces that the South Hills Endoscopy Center, set to open in August, has selected its ProVation MD and RN software for gastroenterology procedure documentation and coding compliance.
ProVation MD software for multi-specialty procedure documentation and coding compliance replaces the current dictation/transcription approach and streamlines the coding and billing process. Driven by deep medical content, ProVation MD allows clinicians to quickly and completely document medical procedures and apply the appropriate CPT and ICD codes, as well as CCI edits. ProVation RN software automates nursing procedure documentation and workflow, collects information automatically from interfaced vitals monitors, hospital information systems, and ProVation MD for automatic insertion into notes and logs.
South Hills Endoscopy Center, a new, state-of-the art facility specializing in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, will provide a combination of convenience and excellent patient care to meet the growing need for gastroenterology services in the Pittsburgh area. The facility will celebrate its grand opening on Aug. 9, 2005.
"South Hills Endoscopy Center is committed to exceptional quality and comfort in the treatment and care of digestive diseases," said Dr. Anthony Colatrella, medical director. "As a new facility, we are committed to starting off right, and the efficiencies provided by the ProVation software will allow us to spend more time on patients and less on administrative tasks."
"It's always exciting when a new endoscopy center opens its doors and we're able to help them start off right - establishing efficient, streamlined workflows and ensuring that procedure documentation is complete and coding is compliant," said Mark T. Wagner, chief executive officer of ProVation Medical. "South Hills Endoscopy's selection of the ProVation MD/RN platform confirms that our software plays an integral and strategic role not only for hospitals and teaching facilities, but for the rapidly growing number of ambulatory surgery centers across the country."
