BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Meridian Surgical Partners, LLC announce that it has acquired a majority interest in the TreasureCoastCenter for Surgery (TCCS) in Stuart, Florida. The 4,000-square-foot multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center, which includes two operating rooms and one procedure room, performed more than 5,700 surgical cases in 2006. Surgical procedures performed at the facility include gastrointestinal, general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain and spine.
The partnership is exploring ways to provide additional capacity and open the door for new physician partners. Tentative plans are being evaluated to develop a new facility at the nearby site of a recently constructed medical office building.
