BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Meridian Surgical Partners, LLC announces that it has acquired a majority interest in the LaurelSurgicalCenter in Greensburg, Pa. The freestanding, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center includes three operating rooms and two procedure rooms, and has performed more than 4,800 surgical cases in 2006. Outpatient surgical procedures performed at the facility include gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic, podiatry and urology.

Opened in September 2004, the 16,000-square-foot Laurel Surgical Center also has eight pre-op beds, seven PACU bays and six step-down stations.
