BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Meridian Surgical Partners announces the opening of CleburneSurgicalCenter, an 8,000-square-foot ambulatory surgery center in Cleburne, Texas. The partnership to develop the center was initiated in May 2006. The center is located in Cleburne, Texas, approximately 30 miles south of Fort Worth and 50 miles southwest of Dallas.

Cleburne Surgical Center is a state-of-the-art facility specifically designed for outpatient procedures with two operating rooms, a procedure room, four pre-operative and six post-operative bays, with one for isolation. The center is designed for optimum patient flow and maximum patient privacy while meeting all code requirements for state licensure. CleburneSurgicalCenter resides in the newly constructed Cleburne Health and WellnessCenter, a 26,000-square-foot medical office building. The center will provide outpatient surgical procedures in gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic surgery, ophthalmology, pain management and urology.

“The completion of Cleburne Surgical Center is a significant milestone for Meridian as well as for the city of Cleburne,” said Cathy Kowalski, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Meridian Surgical Partners. “We are very excited about this partnership and the opportunity to serve Cleburne physicians and patients by providing a reliable alternative for outpatient surgery. We look forward to working with our physician partners to grow the center.”

“Opening the doors at CleburneSurgicalCenter is the result of a great partnership and months of hard work. With Meridian by our side, we look forward to providing exceptional care and service to patients in the Cleburne and surrounding areas,” said Dr. Blaine Farless, an orthopedic surgeon and board member of CleburneSurgicalCenter.
