Meridian Surgical Partners Acquires Physicians’ Surgical Center

BRENTWOOD, TENN. – Meridian Surgical Partners, LLC announced it has acquired a majority interest in Physicians’ SurgicalCenter located in Belleville, Ill. The multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center operates in a 3,200 square foot space with one operating room and one procedure room. In the past 12 months, over 1,700 outpatient surgical cases have been performed at the center including podiatry, gastroenterology, otolaryngology (ENT), hand surgery, pain management, and general surgery.

Physicians’ SurgicalCenter is located in Belleville, Ill. in St. Clair County, Physicians’ SurgicalCenter opened in 2004. Belleville is located in southwest Illinois, approximately 15 miles southeast of St. Louis, Missouri. The center is comprised of 11 physician owners and operates on the campus of St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.

Physicians’ Surgical Center is fully accredited by the state and has obtained its state license to provide outpatient surgical services. It has also been approved by Medicare as a recognized provider facility.
