NEWARK, N.J. — Stryker Corp. has filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court against the Department of Justice (DOJ) over issuing subpoenas that it feels are meant to “harass and harm” the company.

According to the Bergen County (N.J.) Record, the suit says the DOJ and the Department of Health and Human Services filed “oppressive” and “overly broad” subpoena requests while probing allegations of false claims submitted for reimbursement from Medicare and Medicaid.
