Herb Kuhn, independent healthcare consultant and former deputy administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, will be joining the influential Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC).
According to Modern Healthcare, Robert Berenson, senior fellow at the Urban Institute, was also appointed as new members to the independent government body, which advises Congress on a range of care, cost and quality issues, including hospital and physician payment.
