Accreditation
Accreditation holds ASCs accountable for high levels of patient care and is a great way to take initiative on compliance with all standards, including patient safety, infection control and quality service. Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), Joint Commission, American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF) and Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) are all well known accreditation associations that work to accredit healthcare facilities and strive to educate facilities on best practices of running a facility.
